    I used to come here years ago (like 10) and it was one of the best breakfast joints in the area.

    Coming back many years later before hitting a local stone and tile shop and not much has changed... And that is a good thing!

    The service was fast and the food was very good. Wish I lived closer!

    Super good food, great customer service and friendly staff. They're always so sweet to my son. We're repeat customers  spinach pie is great, soup bowl portion is huge. Great Greek salad. Awesome food

    This is why I love and miss, Detroit style Coney's!  Typically family owned, stocked with hard working, warm staff and great vittles...The Flame doesn't fall short by any means.  I've come here a few times now and every time, I'm amazed at how good the food is and the service is never shy of perfect.  The owner is always on the floor, and not just schmoozing with customers, but helping his staff too...clearing tables, delivery food...refilling coffee...you get the picture.  IT reminds me of a woman I worked for in Novi, years ago...at the Country Epicure.

    We used to look forward to eating here, but after today, we won't be coming back.  We got a gift cert that got misplaced, and were told that it was too old, and the manager refused it.  Nowhere did it say the thing expired.  Tacky?  Absolutely.  Great food, but they have lost regular customers.

    I had been wanting to go to this restaurant for quite a while. I heard some good things.
    It's your typical family style restaurant. They had my favorite sandwich, Hot Turkey Sandwich!
    I ordered it with french fries instead of mashed potatoes and smothered with gravy. A little extra gravy on the side too. Outstanding!
    The waitress was nice and helpful and kept our drinks full. The owner/manager stopped by many times to follow up with us and grabbed some of the empty plates.
    The bathroom was clean!
    Will be bank again to try something else, maybe.
